to Newfoundland's once vibrant fishing industry and an
integral part of cultural life in
Newfoundland and Labrador. The Newfoundland tri-coloured
flag which adorns the window to the shed cannot be
understated. This is the essence of Lloyd's
message in this painting since it represents the a
time when Newfoundland was a country blessed with
