On Field Of Diamonds, Joy has
raised the bar higher and her voice has matured even more.
Together with Larry Foley of The Punters, who produced the CD,
they have found songs from great songwriters that showcase Joy's
voice extremely well. “Field Of Diamonds” (Johnny Cash),
“Birds & Ships” (Woody Guthrie & Billy Bragg),
“Marie at The Crossing”(Ron Hynes & Teresa Doyle),
“Valley Green” (Ron Hynes), “Patiently Blue” (Nathan
Wiley), and others. As well, Joy’s songwriting is featured on
two songs: “Long Gone” which she wrote and “I've Got My
Own” which she co-wrote with Paul Mills.
