Leona was born in the small
Newfoundland coastal community of Long Harbour, Placentia Bay. Her
love of Newfoundland's beauty and serenity is depicted through her many
paintings of quaint Newfoundland outports and villages. Her award
winning unique style and technique convey what Newfoundland is made of.
Her many works have been purchased by the Province of Newfoundland's Art
Procurement Program, corporations and numerous private collectors around
the world.
